Configure Custom DDNS on the Ruijie Cloud Platform

This configuration is done directly in the Ruijie Cloud. This DDNS is free with a completely customized subdomain.

Note: You can configure a DDNS per PROJECT, where each must have a Ruijie Router.

Configuration

1.- Access the portal and log in.

2.- Inside the portal, go to the "Gateway" section, where all the registered routers in the cloud are housed.

3.- Select the router for the project to which you want to add DDNS. Click on the serial number.

4.- A window with the equipment information will open. Click on the "config" option.

5.- Go to the "Dynamic DNS" section. Enable the option to proceed with the configuration of the custom DDNS.

6.- Once the option is enabled, the following information will appear to fill out.

  • Domain Name: Configure the subdomain name as "SYSCOM2022," then select one of the domain options after the dot.

  • Map to: Choose the public IP.

Enable the checkbox "I have read and agreed to the User Agreement."

Apply changes by clicking "Save."

Note: The domain may take up to 5 minutes to take effect and refresh.

Once the DDNS changes have been applied, you can use it and manage your port forwarding.

Verification

When sending a ping to the DDNS, you should see the public IP of the site marked, and it should respond.
