Configuration
1.- The first step is to access the device, which has the following default information:
IP: 10.44.77.200
Username: admin
Password: admin
Note: If the switch is under an SMB router, the equipment will inherit the username and password from that device, and it will also obtain an IP via DHCP.
2.- Within the interface, navigate to the following path to create the VLAN ID: VLAN
Settings -> VLAN Members
Having completed the above steps, it will appear as follows:
3.- Now, go to the VLAN Settings section to configure the ports:
Trunk Port (To receive the VLAN from the switch):
Port: 16
VLAN Type: Trunk
VLAN Native: VLAN 1
Permit VLAN: Select all.
Click 'SAVE' to save the configuration.
Access Port (To untag the VLAN):
Port: 1
VLAN Type: Access
Access VLAN: VLAN16
Click 'SAVE' to save the configuration.
Having completed the above steps, it will look like this:
With this, the configuration is complete.
Verification
Connect the device to the port where you untagged the VLAN to receive an IP from that segment.
