E-Series - How To Configure Wi-Fi On An IP Camera

This article will show you how to configure the Wi-Fi function on our applicable IP Cameras.

Log Into The Camera

  1. If you don't have the IPTool, follow the steps provided in this link ; https://support.epcom.net/en/articles/9278391-e-series-downloading-and-using-the-ip-tool

  2. Once you've found the IP and logged into the camera providing your information, head over to Config

3. Head over to the Network tab and click on WIFI

4. Make sure to Enable the WIFI Function of the camera

5. Click on the WIFI you'd like to use for the camera

6. Enter the password of the WIFI in the Key 1 section as show below

NOTE ; For the next few steps if you're unsure on how to find your Subnet Mask and Gateway please refer to section 7a, If you know how to continue to 7b

7a. On the start menu go to your Command Prompt and type in ipconfig

8a. Here you will see the information of your network along with the Subnet Mask and Gateway

Note ; Take off the Ethernet Cable

7b. Once you've entered the password, make sure to click on the following option, "Use the following IP address"

8b. Make sure to give an IP Address that is not currently taken in the network

9b. Set the Subnet Mask and Gateway as the same as the one on your LAN, then click on "Save"

10. Once you've finished, restart the camera and power it on using 12V

11. Log in with the IP Address that you've used in the previous Step

12. Head over to the WIFI section similar to the previous steps, the WIFI should now say Connected
