Important: Unlocking must be done online before operating or attempting to unlock the Mimosa radio directly. Do not attempt installation in remote locations with limited internet access without completing the following steps and obtaining an unlock key.
The radio unlocking process ensures that you have a genuine Mimosa product and provides the ability to track and monitor your radio via the web.
Follow these steps to unlock a radio:
Create a Mimosa Cloud account (or log in to your account if you are already registered).
Scan the QR code on the box or go to mimosa.co/start from any device (PC or mobile device).
Enter the product serial number at mimosa.co/start to obtain an unlock code.*
Access the radio through the web interface using the default IP.
Enter the unlock code (without dashes) and then click the unlock button.
Repeat steps 2-5 for each radio. Unlock codes are unique to each serial number.
Accounts operating B5-Lite radios must follow the SMS verification process. This is only done once per account; it is not necessary to do it with each device.

Note: The unlock code is unique and reusable for the same radio. If a radio is reset to factory settings, the same code can be used to unlock it without having to go through mimosa.co/start again.
