Cable Ethernet
For Mimosa A5 and A5c access points, the static IP address 192.168.1.10 is assigned. For Mimosa A5x access points, the static IP address 192.168.1.20 is assigned. This value can be configured manually or through an external DHCP server. During the initial login (first time or after a factory reset) and prompted for a login password, enter "mimosa".
Mimosa A6 access points are assigned the static IP address 192.168.1.20. This value can be configured manually or through an external DHCP server. During the initial login for the first time or after resetting to factory settings, the username and login password are "root".
Wireless 2.4 GHz (normal operation A5/A5c):
Two 2.4 GHz management SSIDs are broadcasted when the A5 and some models of the A5c start up. The SSID "MimosaM###"* is used to distinguish between access points if multiple APs on the same site advertise the same SSID. Client devices connected to the AP will be assigned DHCP addresses if an external DHCP server is present. Otherwise, their IP addresses must be manually configured.
SSID Name* | Objective | SSID Availability | AP IP Address | Client IP Address |
"MimosaM###" password "mimosa123" | Management | Always off | Static (192.168.1.10) | Manual |
External DHCP | External DHCP |

Wireless 2.4 GHz (Reset/Recovery A5/A5c)
Applying power to the radio without plugging in the PoE data port initiates the reset/recovery process.
As there is no external DHCP server available, the access point assigns a DHCP address to the client.
SSID Name* | Objective | SSID Availability | AP IP Address | Client IP Address |
"MimosaR###"* | Reset/Recovery | 5 minutes | Static (192.168.1.10) | AP assigns DHCP |
* ### = the last three digits of the serial number.
IP Address Discovery
Run the following command from the command line to discover the IP addresses of any directly connected Mimosa devices. The string "20:B5:C" is an Organizational Unique Identifier (OUI), which is the first half of the MAC address assigned to Mimosa devices. After running the command, the IP address of each device will be displayed.
Windows/DOS:
arp -a | findstr -i 20-B5-C
Mac/Linux:
arp -a | grep -i 20:B5:C
The "-i" is necessary to ignore case distinctions.
No CDP/LLDP Support
Mimosa radios do not currently respond to CDP or LLDP.
