This article shows how to enable more IP channels in the TURBOHD 4.0 DVRs, depending on the model, the additional ones that can be enabled.

NOTE: This is done via the HDMI/VGA equipment video output

1.- First we have to update the DVR to firmware version V4.20.000 build 181107, which will change the DVR interface as shown in the following image:

2.- Once the firmware is updated we go to the camera section, it will appear that the limit of IP channels is 2 as in the following example:

3.- To increase the IP channels, we have to enable the "Enhanced IP Mode" option found in the "System, General" section, we click next to save the changes, as shown in the following image:

4.- Next, it will show us a confirmation window, which tells us that the enhanced IP mode will be enabled and that the changes will be made after the DVR restarts. We will click on "Yes", after it will restart.

5.- We return to the "camera" section to verify that the change was made, as shown in the following example:

Compatible DVRs will accept in total:

EV4000TURBO

4 TURBOHD channels + 2 IP channels = 6 channels in total.

8 TURBOHD channels + 4 IP channels = 12 channels in total.

16 TURBOHD channels + 8 IP channels = 24 channels in total.

EV5000TURBO

4 TURBOHD channels + 4 IP channels = 8 channels in total.

8 TURBOHD channels + 8 IP channels = 16 channels in total.

16 TURBOHD channels + 16 IP channels = 32 channels in total.
