1.- Configure the desired video analyzer and within the option "Trigger Mode" enable the E-Mail option, with this we are telling the computer that the notifications will be made through E-Mail.
2.- The first thing we must do is create the two-step verification of the Gmail account to use from "1 - Google apps" in the section "2 - Account".
Enable verification in two steps
With two-step verification, also called "two-factor authentication," you can add an extra layer of security to your account in case your password is stolen. After setting up two-step verification, you can sign in to your account with the following:
Your password
Your phone
Verify that it is you with a second step
After activating two-step verification, you must complete a second step to verify that you are the one trying to log in. To protect your account, Google will ask you to complete a specific second step.
3.- After performing the two-step verification, we must create the application password in Gmail, placing in the search engine "app passowords" (1) and selecting the option "App passwords Security" (2)
4.- Once the option "Application Passwords" has been selected, it will request to enter the email password to continue.
5.- Within the section "App passwords" you need to select the type of application for which you are going to use, in this case you select "Other (Custome name)".
6.- In this way you can place the name of the application, for example in this case the name "NVR" is used, you can use the one you want, it is only an identifier and click on "GENERATE".
7.- Pressing the "GENERATE" button will show the application password to be used, the 16-character password that is in yellow are the ones to be used.
8.- Once registered these characters, enter the recorder configuration to configure the mail and place the corresponding data
Sender name: Name of the sender
Email Address: Email that will be used to send the email
SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Port: 465
Security: SSL
Attaching Image: No / A Picture / Multiple Pictures
Username: Same email as Email Address
Modify Password: Disabled
Select Edit Recipient and add the recipient and select "apply".
9.- It is possible to perform a test in which we must enter the recipient’s data and the application password created in number 7, if everything is correct it will say that the test was satisfactory.
