This configuration is set up for the NBS3100 series switches, for example:

A scheduled reboot helps to clear traffic or cache that may accumulate in the switch due to incorrect data or any communication errors that may occur during its operation.

NOTE: For the configuration, the device should not be within the SON protocol, meaning there should not be another Ruijie switch within the same communication. If so, you must disable the protocol.

Configuration

1.- Access the device with the following parameters.

  • IP: 10.44.77.200 (Static IP or obtained via DHCP)

  • Password: admin (default)

2.- On the left side, there is a menu. Navigate to the following path:

System -> Scheduled Reboot

3.- Check the box to proceed with configuring the scheduled reboot.

4.- Once activated, you can set the schedules and days for the scheduled reboot.

Note: It is recommended to set the scheduled time during network downtime, for example, 2 a.m.

Save changes for them to take effect, and this would complete the configuration.
